Frari Church

 

The Frari Church is the second largest cathedral in Venice (San Marco being the first). Frari Church, known locally as i Frari, was built by Franciscan in the thirteen and fourteenth. Now a world wide paradigm of gothic cathedral architecture, it is also known for having hosted artworks of equal renown, such as Titian's Assumptions and Donatello's John the Baptist. Frari Church is just around the corner from the Scuol Grande di San Rocco.
