Villa Borghese

Villa Borghese is Rome’s largest city park. Located just north of the Spanish steps and Piazza del Popolo this is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon. Once a vineyard this park now features attractions for young and old alike. Villa Borghese features a lake, many fountains and statues, and is the home of three of Rome’s museums. This park was the site of the 1911 World Expo, and many of the buildings or pavilions remain.
