Duomo Cathedral

 

Milan’s Duomo is one of the most spectacular buildings in all of Europe. This beautifully elaborate gothic cathedral is the second largest Roman Catholic cathedral in the world. All of Milan seems to radiate from this inspiring piece of architecture. Construction of the Duomo began in 1386 and lasted until 1762.The Duomo is open to the public daily and tours are available including a tour of the rooftop where you may walk amongst the spires. No trip to Milan would be complete without seeing this masterpiece.
