Fiesole

 

Fiesole is an ancient hillside village in Florence, Italy. Historians believe the town was constructed in the 9th century b.c.e. Fiesole was something of a mystery to ancient Romans: people were very selectively sent there to study the occult. Over the centuries, Fiesole has seen a host of wars and rulers. Today it is, like much of Italy, a center of archaeological, architectral and historical wealth.
