Chianti (Wine) Region

The Chianti Region of Italy refers to a Tuscan area in which Chianti wine is produced. Eight municipalities are said to comprise the Chianti region. They are (in Florence): San Casciano Val di Pesa, Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, Barberino Val d'Elsa and Greve in Chianti; (and in Siena) Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Gialoe in Chianti and Castelnuovo Berardenga. The wine produced in this part of Italy has delighted people all over the world for years amd touring the region is recommended even if you're not that interested in wine, since the vineyard landscape is a sight worth seeing in and of itself.
